Laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots are available to registered Blackhawk students at all BTC campuses. They can be checked out from the Library in the Student Success Center on Central Campus, much like one would check out any other material.
They can be checked out for weekly or semester-long intervals, or after the semester starts can be checked out for daily on-site use in MyEdChoice classes. The equipment loan program will allow students to borrow laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots at no additional charge to the student.

Numerous classrooms at Blackhawk also have MyEdChoice laptops available through your instructor for on-site use during your class.
First-time users will be automatically prompted to create a new password when attempting to log in with their temporary password (i.e. Blackhawk000123456). You will also be required to set up your password recovery options and multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods.
Please note: Blackhawk Technical College will never ask for your password.

You can change your BTC password using the Password Reset Tool, linked below. You will be prompted to verify your identity using the verification method you configured at your first log in.

ITS will perform regular system maintenance to provide stable and secure 系统. Technology services may be unavailable in 30-60 minute increments as updates are applied. Updates are typically performed during overnight hours or early Sunday mornings. If you cannot access a system during this time, please try again in 30-60 minutes.
