hg888皇冠官网 recognizes that disputes may sometimes arise. 学生, 工作人员, 和 members of the community are encouraged to seek informal resolution of their complaints or concerns. 

  1. Informal appeals or complaints (concerns or expressions of dissatisfaction or disagreement) should be h和led through direct communication (conversation, 电子邮件, 或信件)与学生, 工作人员, or member of the community 和 the BTC 工作人员 or department/division involved.

If the resolution is not satisfactory at the informal appeal or complaint level, a formal appeal or complaint must be submitted if seeking resolution. Formal appeals or complaints must be made in writing 和 submitted via the online 学生、教职员和社区申诉和投诉表格Formal appeals 和 complaints must be filed within 30 college business days of the occurrence that prompted the appeal or complaint.

的 complainant should expect a preliminary response from a College 工作人员 member within five (5) college business days. 的 appropriate College 工作人员 member will investigate the appeal or complaint to determine its validity, 并将包括以下内容:

Retaliation

遵守联邦法规, BTC will maintain a record of formal complaints 和 their resolution, including those complaints reported to external agencies. 的 record will be housed within the Office of 制度研究 和 Effectiveness 和 made available to the Higher Learning Commission peer 审查ers for their 审查. Complaint records may also be subject to public disclosure laws 和 will be kept according to the state records retention laws.
