Enrollment Verification

Enrollment verification can be obtained through EnrollmentVerify, which is designed to fulfill the verification requirements of companies that offer products or services requiring proof of a student's enrollment status. Users include companies such as credit issuers, insurance companies, travel companies, and others. All enrollment verifications at Blackhawk Technical College will be through the National Student Clearinghouse only.

Visit National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) or send an email to degreeverify@studentclearinghouse.org or enrollmentverify@studentclearinghouse.org.

The Registration and Records department can assist (upon request of authorized persons) current students with enrollment verification letters. Requests can be processed during regular business hours or mailed if ample information is provided.

Students are also able to request enrollment verifications through MyBTC. Go to the My Academics card and click the "Enrollment Verification" link.

Assessment Score Request

If you would like to request a copy of your placement test scores, please contact our Testing Center at testingcenter@woorat.net with the following information:

  • First and last name the student tested under
  • Type of test report requested (Accuplacer, ATI TEAS, DAT abstract reasoning or space relations, other) – please specify
  • Approximate date test was taken (i.e., spring 2022)
  • Who should receive the score report

Academic Appeals

Students who have appeals or complaints related to course grades, conduct of classes, or other course matters should address those items first with the instructor of the course as noted under Appeal + Complaint Process – Informal Phase. If the student is not satisfied with the resolution, the student may then go to the appropriate program dean. If a resolution is not achieved with the appropriate program dean, a student may submit a formal appeal or complaint via the Student, Staff, and Community Appeal + Complaint Form.

Past Academic Catalogs

When students enroll for academic credit, their graduation requirements are governed by the catalog in effect at the time of their initial enrollment in their chosen program. The only exception is if a student is not enrolled for more than two consecutive semesters (excluding summer) then the student’s coursework will be governed by the catalog in effect when he or she re-enrolls.

The college catalog that is in effect when you first enroll at Blackhawk will be your governing catalog. If you have not maintained enrollment for two consecutive semesters or more, your graduation requirements will be based on the requirements in the current catalog and a new academic plan will be created with your advisor. It is your responsibility to track catalog changes. Also, be aware, that should you change your major at any time you may change your governing catalog.
